Thank you for being a Defined Learning customer! We've listened to your feedback and added new features that will help you implement high-quality PBL with ease! Some of the exciting enhancements to Defined Learning include engaging slide show presentations for each project, animated Goal, Role, Audience, and Situation videos, projects organized by course and unit, and many more!

Question: Will I be able to access projects that I have customized in updated Defined Learning? 
Answer: Yes. There will be a plan in place to allow access to both customized projects and student portfolios from original Defined Learning. 

 

Question: Will student portfolios from original Defined Learning be accessible in the updated Defined Learning platform?

Answer: Yes. There will be a plan in place to allow access to both customized projects and student portfolios from original Defined Learning.

 

Question: Will I have access to both original Defined Learning and the updated Defined Learning? 

Answer: Original Defined Learning will be available throughout the 2022-2023 school year and information about providing access to custom projects and student portfolios from original Defined Learning will be coming soon. We will be supporting legacy accounts by keeping the original Defined Learning site active until key features from original Defined Learning are also available within the updated Defined Learning.

 

Question: Where can I preview all the courses and units in the updated Defined Learning?

Answer: This website provides an interactive list of all the subject areas that you can click on to explore all the available courses and units in the updated Defined Learning.

 

Question: Will updated Defined Learning provide materials in other languages? 

Answer:  Yes. Like original Defined Learning, updated Defined Learning will have the Readspeaker tool integrated on the student side. Readspeaker provides translation and text to speech for the following languages: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French (France), German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Ukrainian. Videos will also have closed captioning in English and Spanish for the 2022-2023 school year.
