Webinar: Deeper Learning Through PBL

Now more than ever, educators need better approaches for engaging students in meaningful learning that deepens understanding and builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills –skills that will support them throughout their lives.

In this virtual symposium, Jay McTighe, Michael Fullan, and PBL thought leaders from across the U.S. will share their insight on how to best engage students in meaningful learning and boost student success. They will provide examples of how they have effectively implemented these strategies through project-based learning and share advice on how you can achieve this in your district.

Note: This was a 5-hour virtual symposium, but you have the option to watch each 1-hour session separately.

Success Stories

The collection of performance tasks developed by Defined Learning supports the UbD framework for curriculum, instruction and assessment. Through the utilization of ‘real world’ performance tasks and related resources, teachers engage their students in meaningful learning and authentic assessment – and that is the best preparation for the world outside of school.
